Biography

Born in Moscow, Russia, and raised in New Jersey, I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design’s Atlanta campus, majoring in Sequential Art and minoring in Storyboarding. I received an MFA in Cartooning at the Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, Vermont, in 2022.

I am also a freelance comics reviewer for Publisher’s Weekly, K-Comics Beat, and Women Write About Comics (where I am also the manga reviews editor), and I have written about comics for Shelfdust, Polygon and The Comics Journal. I am also a part-time essays editor at The Anime Herald.

Most recently, I have been organizing comics meetups and teaching comics workshops in my area. I also helped organize the first Princeton Zine Fest with the Princeton Public Library.

I am the recipient of the 2022 Locher Award.

My comics have been published in the 23.5 Degrees Anthology, Wizards in Space Literary Magazine, and Women Write About Comics’s Secrets of the Goat People Volume 1.
