I received an MFA in Cartooning at the Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, Vermont, in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>I am also a freelance comics reviewer for Publisher&#8217;s Weekly, K-Comics Beat, and Women Write About Comics (where I am also the manga reviews editor), and I have written about comics for Shelfdust, Polygon and The Comics Journal. I am also a part-time essays editor at The Anime Herald.<\/p>\n<p>Most recently, I have been organizing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.communitynews.org\/news\/art-group-helps-area-creators-find-their-jam\/article_77a71b36-3d2f-11ef-95c4-4b717b56e957.html\">comics meetups<\/a> and teaching comics workshops in my area. I also helped organize the first Princeton Zine Fest with the Princeton Public Library.<\/p>\n<p>I am the recipient of the 2022 <a href=\"http:\/\/locheraward.org\/news\/2022\/9\/2\/announcing-the-2022-locher-award\">Locher Award<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>My comics have been published in the <em>23.5 Degrees<\/em> Anthology,\u00a0<em>Wizards in Space<\/em> Literary Magazine, and Women Write About Comics&#8217;s <em>Secrets of the Goat People<\/em> Volume 1.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Born in Moscow, Russia, and raised in New Jersey, I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design&#8217;s Atlanta campus, majoring in Sequential Art and minoring in Storyboarding.
